Ganey C. Hare

Arden - Ganey Clifford Hare, 35, of 3 Hidden Creek Drive died Thursday September 8, 2005 at Park Ridge Hospital following a long illness. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was employed with Rich Mount, Inc. and was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church. He was a son of Myrtle Webb Hare of Skyland and the late Walter Clifford Hare and was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Lynn Hall; paternal grandparents Jessie and Ganey Hare and maternal grandparents, Evelyn and Herman Webb. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Karen Penland Hare of the home; sons, Cody Levi Hare of the home and Edward Lee Gass of Old Fort; sister, Sharon Elizabeth Ball of Hendersonville; brothers, David Earl Hall of Skyland and Kenneth Ray Hall of Leicester and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Cecil Robinson and Rev. Eric Haney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Overlook Road, Skyland. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the family.
