Gearleen Roberson Brown

Leicester – Gearleen Ethel Roberson Brown, 94, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she retired in 1990 from Mars Mfg Company and was a member of Western Chapel UMC.

Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late Fred and Alice Whitted Roberson and wife of Douglas Worth Brown who died August 17, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Kathleen Constance, Mildred Dowdle and Betty Payne; brothers, James and George Roberson.

Surviving are her sister, Jeanette Reeves of Asheville and several nieces and nephews.
