Gene Robertson Gunn, Sr.

Franklin, NC – Gene Robertson Gunn, Sr., 76, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Memorial Mission Hospital.

A native of Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late Joseph and Donelle Scurry Gunn.

Gene was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a successful restaurateur, having owned and operated several restaurants and bars. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, caregiver, golf partner, and fishing buddy who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Ehrens Gunn; son, Gene Gunn, Jr. and wife Melissa and grandsons, Benjamin Gunn and Max Gunn. His second wife Jena Gunn and their daughter, Amanda Gunn and her partner Eric.
