Georgia Mae Hill Chandler

Candler - Georgia Mae Hill Chandler, 101, beloved Mother, Nanny, Sister and Friend, left us January 4, 2021 with an intact mind and a heart full of love for her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Anson Woodrow Chandler; a sister, Helen Hill Gaddy; a brother, William James Hill; and her parents, William Mitchell and Lula Eller Hill. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Hill Robinson, of Weaverville, NC; her two daughters: Rosemary Chandler Brown (Rusty), Candler, NC and Alice Chandler Burhenn (Frank) of Tampa, FL; four granddaughters: Kimberly Brown Anstine (Kevin) of Knoxville, TN, Kerri Brown Edwards (Todd) of Leesville, SC, Melanie Brown Hudson (Bat) of Candler, NC, and Krystal Burhenn Campbell (Alex) of Tampa, FL; nine great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler, NC, with arrangements by Anders- Rice Funeral Home.
