Glenda Rash

Leicester – Glenda Ruth Davis Rash, 76, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she retired from Buncombe County EMS following 12 years of service, and formerly served as a volunteer EMT for Leicester Volunteer Fire Department. Mrs. Rash was a daughter of the late Tom Davis and Ruth Elizabeth Davis. Surviving are her husband, whom she married in 1963, Tony Arthur Rash of the home; sons, Victor Rash and Kelly Rash and wife, Kristy all of Leicester; grandchildren, Dustin Rash and wife, Makayla, Kayla Rash and Jackson Rash; great-granddaughters, Maggie and Oakley; sister, Robbie Bryant and husband, James of Leicester, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, June 5, 2022 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Sunday prior to services at the funeral home.
