Gordon "Kenny" Kenneth Welch, Iii

Galax, VA – Gordon “Kenny” Kenneth Welch, III, 62, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

A native of Elizabethton, TN, he was a son of the late Gordon Kenneth Welch, Jr and Nora Kay Caudill Welch.

Kenny graduated from Wytheville Community College summa cum laude and worked as an electrician for many years and enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Surviving are his son: Gordon Kenneth Welch, IV and wife Jennifer; sister, Debbie Myers; brother, Jeff Welch; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
