Grace Lee Jones

Candler - Grace Lee Jones, 76, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 27, 2001. A Native of Rockingham County, N.C. She was a daughter to the late Jim and Minnie Johnson formerly of Reidsville. Surviving are her husband, of 56 years, Cecil P. Jones; daughters, Janis C. McGan and her husband James McGan both of Henderson, Kentucky and Freda A. Jones of Asheville; three grandchildren and one great grandchild; sisters, Elsie Mapes of Greensboro and Mary Gibson of Reidsville; brothers, Jimmy Johnson and Robert Johnson both of Reidsville and Billy Johnson of Mayodan and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Toney officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6 to 9 P.M. Sunday at the Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
