Harriette Frances Covell

Asheville - Harriette Frances Covell, 88, of 1 Battle Square, Battery Park Apts. died Friday, April 2, 2004. A daughter of the late Samuel and Dora Tabakin, she was born December 10, 1915 in Haddonfield, NJ. and was a graduate of New Jersey College for Women (now Rutgers). Ms. Covell was formerly a long-time resident of Barrington, RI. where she raised a family and worked in several positions in department store retail sales, including many years as a buyer for the Outlet Company in Providence; she also taught at Johnson and Wales. She leaves two sons; Alex T. Covell of Windham, NH. and Christopher G. Covell of New York City, 2 grandchildren, one great grandson and long time companion, Richard Barrett of Asheville. A private ceremony will be held in Asheville.
