Harry Lee Hoffman

Harry Lee Hoffman, 71, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Brian Center in Weaverville. He was born March 22, 1943 to Ernest Hoffman and Fannie Gardner who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Donald D. Hoffman and Reuben B. Franklin. He is survived by his wife Betsy Diane Howington Hoffman; daughter, Ellen Diane Hollifield and husband Andy of Candler; son, Darrell Cole Hoffman and wife Renee of Fletcher; special grandson, Tyler Douglas Hollifield of Candler; sister-in-law Shirlene Hoffman of Asheville; and extended family. Mr. Hoffman was retired from Steelcase and was a member of Browns Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Wilson and Rev. Donnie Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7 till 9 PM, and also at other times at the home of Betsy Diane Hoffman at 80 Chickwood Trail in Weaverville.
