Hazel Marjorie Crawford Romine

Asheville – Hazel Marjorie Crawford Romine, 92, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Riverbend Health and Rehabilitation Center.

A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Bron C. Crawford and Flora Ratcliff Crawford, and the wife of the late Don Mac Romine. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Nate, Bron, Jack, Wilma, Mary, and Evelyn.

Surviving are her daughter, Donna Romine Ratledge and husband Mike of Burnsville; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Mrs. Romine graduated from Grace High School.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Calvary Episcopal Food Pantry, PO Box 187, Fletcher, NC 28732.
