Helen Parker Parris

Bent Creek - Helen Parker Parris age 83 of Bent Creek, died at Aston Park Health Care Center Monday February 18, 2002. She was the widow of Grady L. Parris and the daughter of the late Lonas and Minnie Parker. She was a member of Bent Creek Baptist Church and formerly employed by the American Enka Corp. Surviving are her son Robert Bob L. Parris and wife Martha Penland Parris of Greenville, S.C.; granddaughters, Donna Parris Shores and Shelia Parris Stewart; grandsons, Bruce G. Parris and Robert Robbie L. Parris, Jr.; 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Penley officiating. Burial will be in the Bent Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
