Helen W. Jones

Candler - Helen White Jones died unexpectedly Monday September 4, 2006 at her home. A native and longtime resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Rosa Lee White. Surviving are her husband, Robert B. Bob Jones of the home; sons, R. Micheal Jones and wife Mary Garvey Jones of Boca Raton, FL. and Stephen B. Jones of Durham; daughter, Carol Elaine Jones of the home; grandson, Andrew Micheal Jones; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. A private graveside service was held Thursday - September 7, 2006 at the Piney Mountain United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stewart Humphrey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: North Carolina Lions Foundation, Camp Dogwood Drive, P.O. Box 39, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673 or to ones favorite charity.
