Asheville – Homer Lee Pressley, 77, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Oaks at Sweeten Creek. A native of Buncombe County, he worked for many years with Alpine Heating and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mr. Pressley was a son of the late William “Bill” Hamilton Pressley and Marie Margaret McHone Pressley. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Hensley; brother, Billy Joe Pressley; and former wife, Susan Trexler Pressley. Surviving are his sons, Eric Pressley (Tracy) of Mars Hill and Lee Pressley (Delinda) of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Erica Schwartz (Andy), Michael, Lee Jr, Dillon (Sydney) and Tara Pressley; great grandchildren, Cassie and Skylar Pressley and 3 on the way; sisters, Barbara Grant (Mack), Kathy Clemmons (Sammy), Donna Parker (Alan); brothers, Ronnie Pressley, Tommy Pressley (Tanja); brother-in-law, Bob Hensley; sister-in-law, Heather Pressley, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 till 3 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bethel Baptist Church, 125 Ben Lippen Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
