Hubert Hawkins

Leicester Hubert Hawkins, 75, of 200 Heritage Way, Hendersonville died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at the Mountain Home Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. A native & resident most of life of Buncombe County. He was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Hawkins was the son of the late Judson Manna & Myrtle Plemmons Hawkins and was also preceded in death by his sisters, Ada Edmonds and Edna Hawkins and nephew, John Edmonds, Jr. Surviving are his nephew, Gary Edmonds of Leicester; niece, Judy Reynolds of Leicester; two great nieces and one great nephew. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Turkey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Cable officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
