Huey Reed Burnett Sr.

Huey Reed Burnett, Sr., 79, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation. A native of Monticello, KY he resided in Buncombe County most of his life. He was a son of the late John Harrison Burnett and Frankie Jane Buchanan Burnett. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Burnette, and 10 brothers and sisters. Surviving are his children: Shirley Reinke and husband Carl of Oakland, MI, Huey Burnett, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Red Bluff, CA, Vincent Burnette and wife Tammy of Asheville , and Brad Burnett and wife Trisha of OR; and; sisters: Garnie Doll of Jefferson, PA, and Bernice Trone of Hanover, PA; grandchildren: Michael Raines, Shawn Raines, Matthew Burnett, Hanna Burnett, Dylan Burnett, Tyler Burnett, Carolyn Burnette, and Robert Burnette; great-grandchildren: Jagger Raines, Jasyln Raines, Allie Raines, Graceland Burnett, Desiree Burnette, Alexus Harrin, Jordan Burnette; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 11, 2016, at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 till 6 PM on Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
