Ivan Phillips

Asheville Ivan M. Phillips, 57, of Asheville, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mr. Phillips was well known as a sign language interpreter for Mission Hospitals. He was the son of the late Mike and Luella Phillips. Surviving are his step-mother, Linda Harmon Phillips; step-brothers: Harold Cooley and James Cooley; nephew, Justin Cooley; and niece, Rachel Cooley. Per Ivans request, no services are planned at this time. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting Mr. Phillips family.
