Jake Buckner

ASHEVILLE - Nathan Jake Buckner, 26, passed away Friday July 24, 2009 from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County he attended Ridgeview Baptist Church and had been employed by Jim Barkley Toyota for 9 years. Surviving are his wife, Felicia Lynn Buckner of the home; father and step mother, Ray and Pat Buckner of Asheville; mother and step father, Judy and James Root of Piedmont, SC; step sisters, Jessica Reynolds, Leslie Williams and Dawn Molina; step brother, Bryan Franklin and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Lanning officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
