James Franklin Duckett

Hendersonville - James Franklin Duckett, 50, of 310 Rose Street, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005 at the Four Seasons Hospice Elizabeth House following a period of declining health. A native of Buncombe County, he had lived in Greenville, SC for a number of years before returning to Hendersonville for the past four months. He was a US Air Force veteran, with 15 years of service. He was the son of the late James Weaver and Norma Dee Miller Duckett. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Lee Duckett. Surviving are his daughter, Tammi Duckett of Hendersonville; two sons: Greg Duckett of Franklin and Jason Duckett; his sister, Kim Duckett of West Asheville; and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
