James Rayburn Gloeckner
January 23, 1951 — December 7, 2024
James Rayburn Gloeckner, 73, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Asheville, NC.
A native of Jacksonville, FL, he resided in Asheville, NC for over 20 years. He was a son of the late Charles Francs Gloeckner and Mary Elizabeth Childs Gloeckner.
James was a U.S. Navy Veteran and beloved son and brother.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters: Carolyn Hickox and husband Retired AF Lt. Col. Joseph E. Hickox, Marie Page and husband Bruce D. Page, Sr, and Janet Parish; and many nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date at the Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.
Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center is honored to serve the Gloeckner family.
