Jamie Freelin "Jimbo" Rutherford

Asheville - Jamie Freelin Jimbo Rutherford, 78, of 121 Bartlett Street, died Tuesday March 11, 2003 at his residence. A native of Robbinsville, NC. He had lived most of his life in Buncombe County. He was a son of the late Jeff and Frankie Birchfield Rutherford. Surviving are his sister, Evalee Rutherford of Robbinsville; brother, Pearley Rutherford of Monticello, GA ; several nieces and nephews and special friend Bobby Hunter of Asheville. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Hendersonville, with Rev. Kyle Shipman officiating.
