Janet L. Lanzi

Leicester - Janet Louise Simpson Lanzi, 72, of 61 Lanzi Ledge Road, died Thursday November 24, 2005 at St. Josephs Hospital following an extended illness. A native of Newton, NJ, she had lived in Westland, Michigan for 30 years prior to moving to Buncombe County in 1986. She retired in 1986 as a secretary for the Wayne-Westland Michigan Schools and was the daughter of the late Alanson G. and Ruth Olivia Banghart Simpson. Surviving are her husband Edward H. Lanzi, Sr. of the home; son, Edward H. Lanzi, Jr.; daughter, Kathleen Pfluger and husband John of Leicester and 2 grandchildren, Aleah and Jordan Pfluger both of Leicester. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting Mrs. Lanzi's family.
