Janice Miller Clark

Asheville - Janice Miller Clark , 73, died October 17, 2008 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center after a long courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of Paul Miller, Sr. and Thelma Lytle Miller. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church but recently attended Covenant Community United Methodist Church. She worked for Belk Department Store in Asheville for 43 years. She is preceded by her father Paul Miller, Sr. and her husband Don Clark. She is survived by her mother Thelma Miller, her brother Paul Miller, Jr. his wife Callie and two nieces Susan Miller Hartley and Darlene Young all of Fairview. She is also survived by numerous coworkers, relatives, friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda Lewis (Chaplain of hospice) and the Rev. Jeff Brooks (Chaplain of Mission Health and Hospitals) officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before and one hour after the funeral.
