Jennifer Harr

Arden - Jennifer Lynn Harr, 60, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Park Ridge Hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Ms. Harr worked as a claims associate with Sitel, and was a member of Long Shoals Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Gene Rice and the late Martha B. Lumston. Surviving are her daughters: Linda G. Smith and Shawn, Christa M. Wallen, Leslie Ruff and Scotty, and Amy Austin and Matt; grandchildren: Peyton Rudisill, Collin Rudisill, Brice Austin, Tanner Ruff, Aidan Smith, and Audrey Smith; sister, Catherine Hopper; brother, James Rice and wife Sherri; nieces: Tiffany Welborn and Brandi Rice; and her best friend, Larry Harr. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Long Shoals Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roger Rearden officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting Ms. Harrs family.
