Jessie Taylor Devore

Jessie Alma Taylor Devore, 95, of 33 Upper Saw Branch Road, died Monday, September 11, 2000 at the Mt Pisgah Family Care Home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a daughter of the late George Turner and Martha Rice Taylor and the wife of Eulus Homer Devore who died in 1970 and was a member of Brown's View Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Martha Ann Devore and son, Harland James Devore both of the home; sister, Bonnie Welborn of Candler and brother, George Taylor of Fletcher. No services are Planned. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the family.
