Asheville – James Robert “Jimmy” Metcalf, Jr, 53, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, and the son of James Robert Metcalf, Sr of Asheville and the late Lillian Claudia Jones Metcalf. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Jo Bongardt. Surviving in addition to his father are his daughter, Tiffany Serena Metcalf; sister, Teresa Zethof; niece, Stacey Ingle and 3 great nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Metcalf Stateline Cemetery in the Upper Laurel Section of Madison County.
