Johanna Rhew

ASHEVILLE - Johanna Erica Erickson Rhew, 71, passed away Sunday May 16, 2010 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Fletcher United Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late August Theodore and Mary Frances Lewis Erickson and the wife of the late Joseph Parris Rhew. Surviving are her daughter Joette Erica Rhew-Lewis and her husband Mike Lewis of Asheville; grandson, Jon Michael Lewis; sister, Jenny McGaha and husband Gene of Brevard; brothers, John E. Erickson and wife Sue of PA and August T. Erickson and wife Darleen of Asheville. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Randy Wood officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
