John Stoup, Jr.

Asheville – John Robert Stoup, Jr., 50, of 5 Melissa Court, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at his residence.

A native of Richmond, Michigan, he has resided in Asheville since 2010 and was employed for several years with Change Health Care as a Call Center Representative. He loved fishing, shooting guns and was a Muscle and Old Car enthusiast.

Surviving are his parents Roger Peter Crowe and Sandy Joy Stoup Crowe of Casco, MI; children, Andrew Stoup of Oscoda, MI, Christian Farley of Mount Clement, MI, Justin Stoup of Asheville, NC and Cora Stoup of Candler, NC; grandchildren, Abigail Stoup and Ivar Farley; seven surviving siblings and one sister that preceded him in death and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 18, 2023, in the chapel of the Anders-Rice Funeral Home with his son, Andrew Stoup officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following services at the funeral home.
