Joy Hood

Beloved daughter, wife, and friend, our darling Joy, 39, of Asheville, ascended to be with her heavenly father on the thirtieth of November, two thousand twenty-one, after an extended fight against illness. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Lorene Erwin; her maternal grandfather, Warren Erwin; and her paternal grandfather, Jerry Hood. She is survived by her husband, James Messer; her mother, Tesla Hood; her paternal grandmother, Opal Hood; and her father and stepmother, Jerry & Rebecca Hood. And now, another angel receives her halo.
