Joyce Ann Clements

Asheville - Joyce Ann Doan Clements, 63, of 29 Oak Hill Circle, went to be with the Lord Monday November 26, 2001 at Mountain Area Hospice. A life long resident of Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late William Taylor and Iva Joel Rice Doan. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Doan and a sister, Betty Green. Surviving are her husband, Lee Roy Clements of the home; sisters, Nancy Reed and husband, W.D. and Mary Hensley and husband, Bill all of Asheville; brother, James Steve Doan and wife, Phyllis of Skyland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Noah Barefoot officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
