Juanita Ducker

WEAVERVILLE Florence Juanita Ducker, 73, formerly of 92 Salem Road passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Chunns Cove Assisted Living Center. She was a native and resident for most of her life of Buncombe County and was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church in Weaverville. Ms. Ducker was the daughter of the late Hilda Ducker. Surviving are her nieces, Irene Wilson, Cecilia Farmer, Helen Wallin and Mollie Burnette and a number of great nieces & nephews. Memorial services will be held 6:30 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Jarvis and Rev. Ken Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Duckers family at Chunns Cove Assisted Living Center, as well as to the Weaverville Police and Fire Departments for checking in on her for the past three years.
