Judy Chambers Williams

Arden - Judy Ernestine Teetle Chambers Williams, 80, of 8 Graceland Place died Tuesday January 28, 2003 at her home after an extended illness. A native of Spartanburg, S.C., she had lived most of her life in Buncombe County and retired from Gerber Ind. after 25 years of service. She was a daughter of the late Ernest Ruben and Bonnie Jane Plemmons Chambers. She was the wife of the late Arthur Roberts, Warren Johns and Frank Williams. Surviving are her daughter, Joy Roberts of Bronson, Fl.; son, Edward Alan Roberts of Williston, Fl.; sister, Mary Ellen Buchanan of West Palm Beach, Fl.; Brothers, Ralph Chambers of Jackson, S.C. and Alden Chambers of Sevierville, Tn.; 6 grandchildren, Joseph McAbee, Kenneth Pearson, Richard Pearson, Alan Roberts, Tina Wilcox and Renee Harvey; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A,M, Friday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Lyle Wilcox officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
