Judy Walker

Fletcher Judy Gail Towe Walker, 67, of Fletcher, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at her home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Ms. Walker was the daughter of the late William David and Maggie Nadine Buckner Towe. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Doug Towe. Ms. Walker was a Christian and loved the Lord, and spent many hours praying and reading her Bible. Surviving are her sons: Kevin Walker and wife Mariko, and Chris Walker; grandchildren: Brayden Walker and Celesta Edge; aunt, Maria Callahan; uncle, Russell Buckner, and friend, Earl Jones. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ray Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 3:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
