June Reese

Woodfin - Edna June Aiken Reese, 77, passed away Saturday April 3, 2010. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Pauline Kuykendall Aiken and the wife of the late Harry Reese. She was also preceded in death by a sister: Doris Rice. Surviving are her sons: Harry Reese, Jr. and Stanley Reese (Sue); sister, Helen Crowe (Ned); Brother-in-law, Johnny Rice; grandchildren, Tonya Reese, Joe Reese and Rev. Daniel Reese (Summer) and great grandchildren, Autumn and Hannah. Private services will be held at a later date. Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family.
