Keith Gass

Asheville – Samuel Keith Gass, 60, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 11, 2021. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He was the son of the late Nola Naomi Gass Hall. Keith worked as a Foreman at MSD (Metropolitan Sewage District) where he was employed for 29 years. He loved camping and the outdoors and was a graduate of Enka High School. Keith is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sharon Wright Gass of the home; daughter, Amber Gass Waycaster of Asheville; granddaughters, Abbigail and Madeline with whom he was affectionately known as “Papa”. Graveside Services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
