Kenneth Charles Worley

Candler Kenneth Charles Worley, 62, of 164 Bennett Road, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2006 at his residence following a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he retired from Square D following 37 years of service. He was a member of Glory Tabernacle Church. Mr. Worley was the son of the late Thurman Hugh and Ruby Hoglen Worley. Surviving are his wife, Anna Ward Worley, of the home; two sons: Greg Worley and Rick Worley, both of Leicester; two step-sons: Kenneth Ramsey of Union Mills, NC and Shane Ramsey of Candler; three brothers: James Worley of Oakley, and Jack Worley and Wayne Worley, both Leicester; two grandchildren and three step grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday at Glory Tabernacle, with the Rev. Ronnie Pitman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glory Tabernacle, 1221 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville, NC 28803.
