Kenneth Daniel "Kenny" Hensley

Asheville - Kenneth Daniel Kenny Hensley, 33, of Asheville, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. Born June 19, 1974 in Fayetteville, NC, Kenny spent most of his life in Buncombe County. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: The Rev. Elmer and Louise Hensley; and by his beloved niece, Haela Hensley. Kenny is survived by his maternal grandmother, Mabel Follett of West Asheville; his parents, Ann and Claude Julian Hensley of Asheville; brother, Robert Christopher Chris Hensley (Johanna) of Leicester; and his cherished nephew, Talon Hensley, of Asheville. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Oakley Community, with his cousin, the Rev. Tommy Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-12:30 PM Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
