Lee Bradshaw

HENDERSONVILLE - Lee Oliver Bradshaw, 87, of 602 Brookside Camp Road passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at the Henderson Assisted Living Facility. A native and lifelong resident most of his life of Buncombe County. He retired in 1986 from Southern Railway as an Engineer following 40 years of service, was a former member of (PWP) Parents Without Partners and was a U.S. Navy veteran during WWII. Mr. Bradshaw was the son of the late Oliver Hugh Bradshaw and Lorena Bessie Chockley Bradshaw. Surviving are his son, Tim Bradshaw of Greenville, SC; daughter, Terri Bradshaw of Hendersonville and sister, Lorena Manokeau of Indianapolis, IN. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. John T. Tiller officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home prior to services.
