Leroy "Boot" Horne, Jr.

Hendersonville – Leroy “Boot” Horne, Jr., 76, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his residence. A native of Fort Pierce, Florida, he was a son of the late Leroy Horne, Sr. and Rosa Serlena Cttledge. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Thelma Phillips. Surviving are his brother: Arthur Horne of Hendersonville; cousin, Mary Pauline Thomas; several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Star of Bethel Baptist Church, 105 N Whitted Street, Hendersonville, NC 28739. Burial will be at a later date in Quitman, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 1 till 2 PM on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to assist with funeral expenses be made care of: Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
