Liddie Moore Green

Asheville - Liddie Green, 70, of 4 Louisville Place, died Saturday August 23, 2003 at St. Josephs Hospital. A native of Yancey County, she had lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a former employee of Burlington Industries and Valdese Manufacturing. She was a daughter of the late William and Pearl Burns Moore. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Clyde Moore. Surviving are her husband, Dale Green of the home; sisters, Thelma Tipton of Asheville, Dorothy Vess of Marion and Mary Sharp of Taylor, SC; brother, Fred Moore and 24 nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Revs. Ronald Dodson and Gary Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Moore Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
