Lillian Shope Glosson

Asheville - Lillian Shope Glosson, 86, passed away Wednesday February 10, 2010 in Concord. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she loved ceramics, working with her flowers and shopping. She was a daughter of the late Emory Long and Jessie Carrie Lee Hall Shope and the wife of the late Louis Hanes Glosson. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra G. Tucker of Concord; grandchildren, Michael Allen Tucker and Amanda Joy Hernendes both of FL; sisters, Mary Silvers of Swannannoa and Myrtle Crandall of Oteen and brother, Paul Shope and wife Shirley of Asheville. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday at Bethel UMC Cemetery with Pastor Allen Rash officiating.
