Lillie Clark King

Asheville - Lillie Clark King, 84, died Tuesday May 10, 2011 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Tony Cordell and Ottie Giles Clark. Surviving are her husband Herbert H. King of the home; brother-in-law, Wilburn King and wife Margaret of Leicester; sister-in-law, Hilda Gatch of Weaverville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Ricky Townsend officiating. Burial will follow in Big Sandy UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
