Linda Ball Helms

Linda Ball Helms, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at her residence in North Charleston, SC.

A native of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late William Herbert Ball, Sr. and Robbie Jane Hudson Ball. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Thomas Barry Helms.

Linda was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Woodfin, and she loved her family deeply.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Joseph “J.L.” Helms; son, Jacob Daniel Helms; sister, Janet Elaine Reece and husband Frank Stephenson; brother, William Herbert Ball, Jr.; sisters-in-law: Patricia Worley and husband Charlie, and Charlotte Corn and husband Dale; and nieces and nephews: Billy, Crystal, Mark, April, Jenny, Tracy, Angel, Jennifer, Timothy, Jackie, Robert, and Keith.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 21, 2024, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Zane Edmonds officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 1:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
