Linda Hattie Epps

Linda Hattie Epps, born on June 3, 1958, in Buncombe County, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Burke County. Her life was one filled with moments of joy, love, and cherished connections with those around her.

Linda was survived by her sister, Brenda Roland and many extended family members and friends who will remember her warmth and kindness. Her parents, Fred C. Epps and Valarie Dees Epps, preceded her in death.

Linda touched the lives of many through out her life, and those who had the privilege of knowing her will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

A graveside service will be held at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville, North Carolina, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, and a memorial service to celebrate her life will take place at the First Apostolic Church, 325 Drexel Rd, Morganton, NC 28655, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM.

Linda Hattie Epps leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her.
