Linda Riddle Johnston

Linda Riddle Johnston, 79, went home to be with her Savior on Monday, April 20, 2026, at her home while surrounded by family and friends.

A native of Buncombe County, she was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Margaret Riddle and her siblings.

Linda attended Freedom Baptist Church, and she was know for her sweet smile and laughter throughout her long battle with COPD.

She is survived by her sons, Ricky Parham and wife Sherri, and Ronnie Davis, Jr; and daughter, Tina West. She cherished her six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Green Hills Cemetery, 25 New Leicester Highway, Asheville, NC 28806, at a later date with Rev. Kellen Griffin officiating.
