Louise Huntley Mcabee Earley

Louise Huntley McAbee Earley, 94, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Fleshers Fairview Health Care. A native of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey Huntley and Bertha Justus Huntley. She was also preceded in death by her husbands: Wallace Blanton McAbee, and Wallace Earley; son, Brian McAbee; grandchildren: Natalie McAbee, and Andrew McAbee; and sisters: Marie Freeman, Katherine Allison, and Faye Merrell. Surviving are her sons: Steve McAbee and wife Sandra of Fairview, and Jerry McAbee and wife Pam of Whittier; daughter: Sandra Blanks and husband Ray of Raleigh; step-son, Forrest Earley and wife Becky of Morganton; daughter-in-law, Lesa Harris and husband David of Fairview; grandchildren: Eric McAbee, Kevin McAbee, Bradley McAbee, Kristin Thigpen, Tim Blanks, and Paul Blanks; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bud Huntley and wife Ophelia of Fairview; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Thursday, May 26, 2016 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Eric McAbee, Rev. Bruce Buckner, and Rev. Terrell Dillingham officiating. Burial will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday for 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home.
