Lucille "Teddi" Baker

Asheville Lucille Teddi Maxwell Baker, 63, of Waters Road, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. A native of Union, SC, Mrs. Baker had resided most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a member of Cedar Mountain Baptist Church, was a wonderful seamstress, an avid crafter, and was a clogging director for many years. She was the daughter of the late William and Jeanette Moss Maxwell. Surviving are her husband, Eddie Baker, of the home; children: Lisa Lawwill, Robyn Carambot and husband Daniel, and Traci Baker, all of Asheville; grandson, Tyler Lawwill; sister: Diane Baker of Arden; brother, William Maxwell, Jr. and wife Mary of Asheville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday at Cedar Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Page officiating. Burial will follow at Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
