Lucy Boggs

Asheville - Lucy Meda Tinsley Boggs, 77, of 432 Olivette Road died Thursday December 4, 2008 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Webster County, KY. she had lived in Buncombe County for the last 33 years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Jack Alvin and Eva Thompson Tinsley. Surviving are her husband Dale Arland Boggs of the home; son, David Boggs and wife Glenda of Leicester; daughter, Susan Stewart and husband Joseph of Asheville; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Sprinkle officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
