Madge Lane Simpson

Madge Simpson, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 20, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was a daughter of the late James and Callie Poteat Lane. She was also preceded in death by a son Frank L. Simpson. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Frank E. Simpson; daughters: Gayle (Bill) Perry of Midland, TX, Deborah Allen of Orlando, FL, and Kathy (Mike) Fletcher of Hendersonville, NC; daughter-in-law, Linda Simpson of Etowah, NC; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2PM Monday, September 23, 2013 at Pisgah View Memorial Park with Rev. Dan Epley officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the family.
