Mae Shelton Styles

Mae Shelton Styles, 88, of Asheville, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Birchard Shelton and Magonalia Gahagan Shelton. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Cook; and brothers: Fred Shelton and Jack Shelton. Mrs. Shelton worked for HB Drive Inn in Woodfin for many years before retiring. Surviving are her sisters: Fae Shelton of Candler, and Charlotte Luzzi of Yonkers, NY; nieces: Brenda Hensley of Greenville, TN, Mayolyn Vinson of Candler, and Terry Griffin of Paint Lick, KY; nephews: Patrick Luzzi of Yonkers, NY, and Michael Luzzi of Georgia; and a very special caregiver, Deatra Bingham. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
