Maggie Kelley Rice

Asheville - Maggie Lou Clements Kelley Rice, 88, died Monday July 7, 2003 at Emerald Ridge Rehab Care Center. A native of Del Rio, TN. She had lived most of her life in Asheville and had retired from Burlington Industries. She was a daughter of the late Dave and Linnie Norwood Clements. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Coy Kelley; her second husband, Lloyd Rice and her son, Edward Kelley. Surviving are her daughter, Betty McElroy of Asheville; sister, Lillie Tweed of Marshall; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Cemetery, Haywood County with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating.
